The stay here was great for being so accommodating and allowing us to have a lovely romantic weekend. Enjoyed GORGEOUS views. The accommodation had a very central location close to shops. Moreover, it was close to the centre, snow covered mountains, Pitlochry.

This hotel was set in a very central area right by Pitlochry and the shops and restaurants. The room itself was huge and fabulous and had lovely views onto beautifully kept garden.

Our Four Poster Room was beautifully decorated and spacious. Super cozy vibe. It had a fine view! Really enjoyed the little touches like tea and biscuits. Only downside was the TV didn't connect to Netflix as promised, a bit of a drag when we wanted to relax. It was pretty perfect!

We stayed at the Claymore 2 years ago and when we decided to revisit Scotland this year it was the 1st Hotel on our list for booking. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we were able to stay in the same room as last time (room 1) which is superb in both size and the view across the valley. If I was to be hyper critical I would say that the bathroom is due for a refurbishment, but is fully functional and of great proportions. The breakfast is second to none - having travelled extensively on pleasure and business I feel well qualified to make this statement. Your order is placed the night before so that you don't have a long wait for breakfast to be served in the morning.
There is nothing to dislike about the hotel, staff or location

The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, providing ease of access, ample storage, and modern amenities, all in a serene environment that catered to my needs as a senior traveler. The view from my window was fine.
WiFi could be improved in the courtyard.

The room was nice with a pleasant view
We expected a hotel, it was an expensive bed and breakfast. On arrival was a piece of paper with a room number and keys we had to wander the hotel looking for our room. The 3 star hotel sign to the entrance of the hotel had a piece of blue adhesive tape covering the word"hotel" Breakfast on the second morning was overcooked and the bacon was like shoe leather. No evening meals, no guest bar, not a 3 star hotel.

would definitely book here again
We had a superior double room with a seating area and large bed. The room was clean and comfy. It had a fridge for snacks. Breakfast had freshly prepared local dishes like kippers and poached eggs. The garden views from the dining area were nice.
